Garageband

Garageband is a piece of software which allows you to create, edit or piece soundtracks or songs. Due to us only using the live sound in our Preliminary Task there was no need to explore Garageband before hand. However this was not a setback for me as I already had a good knowledge on how to use the software to almost its maximum capabilities.   


In Garageband we managed to develop the soundtrack and different sounds like the typing sound effect. In order to create the soundtrack I used the 'Musical Typing' component of the software, which allowed the computer keyboard to act as a musical real keyboard. After doing this process and recording the soundtrack I was able to manipulate and edit it as much as possible with the choice of a wide variety of effects. 

Garageband was a very useful tool to have and use when creating my thriller audio, not only because I am already familiar with the software, but also because there was such a wide range of different sounds or sound effects that you could even edit to your liking as well.
